How to delete your LogisticsX Driver account and the data associated with it.

Overview
LogisticsX provides the LogisticsX Driver mobile application for truck drivers. You can request deletion of your driver account and personal data at any time, either directly from the app or by contacting our privacy team.
This page describes the steps to take, what data is removed, what we are legally required to retain, and how long the process takes.
Delete from the Driver App
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the LogisticsX Driver app:
- Open the LogisticsX Driver app and sign in.
- Tap the menu (top-left) and go to Settings .
- Open Privacy .
- Scroll to Delete Account .
- Optionally enter a reason, then confirm. The request enters a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it from the same screen.
Request Deletion by Email
If you no longer have access to the app, email privacy@logisticsx.app from the address associated with your driver account and include:
- Your full name as it appears on your driver profile
- The phone number or email used to sign in
- The name of the carrier / company you drove for
We will verify ownership before processing the request. Verification typically takes 1–3 business days.
What Gets Deleted
After the grace period elapses, the following data is permanently removed or anonymized:
- Driver profile (name, email, phone, photo, license details)
- Account credentials and authentication tokens
- Saved app preferences and notification settings
- In-app messages and chat history
- Personal documents you uploaded (medical card, CDL scan)
What We Must Retain
Some records cannot be deleted because federal and state regulations require motor carriers to retain them. Where possible, these records are anonymized so they no longer identify you directly, but the underlying operational data must be preserved:
- Hours of Service (HOS) / ELD logsFMCSA 49 CFR §395.22(i) requires motor carriers to retain driver duty status records for 6 months.
- Trip, load, and delivery recordsRequired for tax, insurance, and DOT audit purposes. Retained for up to 7 years per IRS and DOT recordkeeping rules.
- Payroll, settlements, and tax formsRetained for at least 4 years to comply with IRS, state labor, and 1099/W-2 reporting requirements.
- Safety and incident recordsAccident reports and drug/alcohol test records must be kept per FMCSA Part 382 and 390.
Timeline & Cancellation
Deletion requests follow a 30-day grace period :
- Day 0: You submit the request. Your account is immediately disabled and you are signed out.
- Days 1–30: You can cancel the request from the Privacy screen (after signing back in) or by emailing us. Nothing is destroyed during this window.
- After day 30: Anonymization runs automatically. The deletion is irreversible from this point.
Deleting Specific Data
If you only want to delete specific data (for example, uploaded documents or saved addresses) without closing the account, email privacy@logisticsx.app describing what you want removed. You can also export a copy of your personal data from the same Privacy screen before requesting deletion.
